I've been doing online sarging for a few months now and there are a few things that immediately pop out at me on your profile.

First and foremost, fix the typos and spelling errors. You have a Bachelors. Show your education.

I'd take out the line about "now that I am in my mid 40s". Age is posted above and not something that needs to be repeated; especially tied to the reason that you "like to push yourself".

You need to play up more of your funny, friendly side that peeks out in your profile. Remember that you want to walk the line of funny/cocky. Not seeing any cocky. Marginal confidence. Your "First Date" section ... exactly what I am talking about. Whatever you say here doesn't really matter as long as it is decisive and fun. All these maybes makes you seem like a try-hard. Most women's profiles will say that they want the man to decide. Another chance to show your alpha side that your profile is currently lacking.

Like the Hannibal reference but not either lines surrounding it. Again, have your confidence shine through.

I have to agree with this reply, some additional notes to consider after i just read this is that you only stated once what you wanted from them and it was like 4 words!

You seem to have the expectations of yourself now you should demonstrate that in a story without sounding like you're writing a CV. State exactly what you want from the site or them, women like men who know what they want and anything else is a deal breaker
