Okay everyone is bugging me about chat session what to say and what to do. This girl sent me a message saying she liked my profile and was interested with her yahoo IM, so I messaged her and here is what happened.

Feel free to critque. This conversation took less than 10 minutes. Hope it helps some of you who have asked me for examples.

You did good in that you got the date. Here's one thing I would have done differently though. When she said "which day", I would have immediately thrown out a day that was a few days away. I also would have said, before that "I've got to go. We need to get together in person and talk more."
So:
"I've got to go. We need to get together in person and talk more."
"Which day"
"I don't have time until Monday evening. Say, 7 pm."
Of course she wouldn't have been free, but then you could have stretched it for Wednesday like you did.
I wouldn't have jumped on the "How's tomorrow evening for you?" line. That's too much interest too quick.
But that's my opinion.

That's a very good point L.A. I think it was a little too needy. I should have said something like Monday at 7pm like you said and then backed it up. Also, I agree that I should have explained I should have just asked her out right then.

I appreciate the help! Well, the date went well. My field report is up about it but basically just a good dinner, and a k-close.
