Hey guys any success online? How do you catch a woman's attention online?

So my last long term girl I was with for 6 years I met on lavalife. So I know their are prospects to be met out their although it can be agonizing long process sometimes and not as good as meeting in person.

I've continued to have some "success" on Lavalife. And what I mean by success is women responding and being in conversation (Ie. in course of month having 6-10 different women active conversation in a month. And more if your including an initial response that didn't go anywhere and got boring).

However the real market I'm trying to crack is Plenty of Fish (POF). Where I see allot of beautiful women on that site. My profile seems to get viewed allot. As I have a picture when I'm working out in a tank top and showing off my physique. And I guess that's get them clicking.

However when i send messages I never get a response from them. I've tried the standard "How How are ya?". As well as Negging or actually reading their profile and trying to say something specific. Nothing seems to work.

My guess because POF is a free site they just get swarmed with emails. But it seems to bad as their seems lots of opportunity out their with beautiful women (At least considering you are not leaving your house. And no substitute for getting out there).

Any advice?

Women on POF are so picky they will only respond to the hottest of guys. Basically you are up against an almost impossible level of competition if your an average guy. I had a look at the guys round my local area (central Scotland) and there are so many guys who at first glance would seem way more attractive to women than myself. For-example one guy who lives near me is a helicopter pilot and is 6ft2 and buff with lots photo's of him on the job. There are lots of firemen, policemen, soldiers, bouncers and other alpha types around. The hot women also get bombarded with so many messages, up to 40 or 50+ a day. They get so many they cant keep up.

Is it any wander that its difficult to get a response?

I'm not saying its impossible to get results on pof if you are an average guy with average looks and an average job and status in life but its a lot of work for mediocre results at best.

POF sucks but other dating sites, at least in the US, are good. (okcupid for free sites, and match.com is the best but it cost money). Stand out with a great profile that separates you from the pack. That is the key.
