If she's not interested it won't make her want you suddenly, and if she is then it might just scare her off because as you've said she's a shy one. This is just again a major shit test. The point of going out together is getting to know each other better so how can "not knowing each other enough" be a valid excuse? Don't fall for stupid women tricks like this. Just tell her you want to get to know her better that's why you invite her out in the first place.
