I got this girl's number on Plenty of Fish. She seemed really interested in me, giving me tons of IOIs and asking me a lot of questions. Gave her my number and she texted me this:
Her: Hey it's Jodi. I don't boulder to be honest. I want to learn

I have no upper body strength so it will definitely be a challenge. So how do you like CBC?
Me: Jodi eh? I'm just gonna call you Roller Girl

(she's into rollerblading) CBC is great! I'll be on TV one day, just you watch

I get to meet a lot of cool musicians since I work in the non-news arts and entertainment. You said your prof worked at CBC too? Where do you go to school and what are you studying?
Her: I go to the University of Ottawa, finishing up in communications. My course right now focuses on CBC (blah, blah, blah, more about her course and school). By the way, sorry for the late reply, I'm at work.
Me: That's awesome. You're totally making up for being an Aries

(My profile says no Aries) Let's meet for a drink at Local Heroes sometime this week. I'm thinking Wednesday night. I can kick your ass in pool there, they have a table

(her profile says she loves pool)
Her: I have classes right now. So between that and work I'm not entirely free until after my final on the 31st

but I would love to play some pool after my finals. Sorry, it's just I'm taking 4th year summer courses so they are pretty time consuming at the moment
Me: Haha you're a big nerd eh? That's OK, it's good to see a girl take school seriously.
She hasn't responded to that yet. This girl is pretty hot. What do I do from here? Do you think that's a BS excuse? Should I have tried calling her and talking to her on the phone before asking her out? Is that necessary? I like to just stick to text.
I know I shouldn't be over-thinking online game too much since there are so many women to choose from, but I like to learn. I just started online gaming.
