Let me preface this by saying, I'm not AFC other than in my AA, so don't respond with obvious answers like "DHV then escalate"

I keep getting one word answers on Tinder and POF. Mostly on Tinder. That's where you can press a like or dislike on a chick based on her picture and if she likes you back you can message each other, for those who hadn't heard of it (I just did).

I'll write to someone and get one word responses. Like:

Me: "One mile away? Are you stalking me"
Her: "Def"

or

Me: "These conversation starters are making me forget all the genius player shit I was going to say to you that would get you into bed"
Her: "haha"

How do you respond to a one word without being needy? Obviously her interest levels are low, but they're still there enough for them to respond. What to do?
