So i saw a HB 7 on the People I might know, but I have no mutual friends with. I add her. Then she starts the conversation:

HB: Hey there, how do I know you?

Me: Hey, I should be asking you that. You look very familiar from somewhere .

HB:I look familiar? You should be telling me.. you're the one who added me?

Now, just learning the baby steps of PUA, how would I steer this convo? Any possible responses you guys would do if you were in my shoes?

Thank you fellow brothers

just casual chat, talk about actuality, like movies or current city event or the weather.
Move it to school or occupation then move to a sexual vibe

Important is to win time here.

Should I be like I saw someone familiar at a formal event?

She has a point here; you sort of messed up the order a bit. It still could be salvageable. One play here may be to say: "you know what you are right, I thought you were from so and so but it's not you, I guess facebook people you may know is wrong sometimes!" And then immediately take the conversation to something about her, asking her something about herself etc.

JUST AN UPDATE brothers :
So the HB is talking to me and then thelast message she says is :
HB : Well Im not really sure what you want/or where this to go.. I don't like to play games or lead people on so Im just gonna put it out there for you.. I'm sort of in a complicated relationship so if what you want is more than being friends then I guess this isn't the right moment or time. If not, that's another situation. I'm not going to take it personally if you stop replying.

How would you guys respond to that?

STOP gaming girls on Facebook... It's creepy as fuck. They get random guys adding them ALL THE TIME.

Haha. Agree. Go with actual online dating. It is by far the easiest way to get laid. BY FAR.

Haven't read the replies but..

You are a nobody adding her on facebook, its quite weird.

Imagine some random gay adding you and starts messaging you crap, how would you feel?

its just as weird even if you have mutual friends although i have made it work... i would be posting on mutual friend's comments until she likes my comments then i'd message her and break the ice. (you can message without adding as friend)

then when she likes you , you/her can add each other, and then game away.
