I saw this on a guy's blog that I found recently, where's he's offering $US 300 for what he and some female friends vote as being the best profile text, plus 2 runner ups, since he's not asking for any photos to be sent and doesn't want web links given to your current profile. $US 300 isn't much though.

I don't put this up because I'm the guy and am commercially affiliated with him, as I'm definitely not, since I don't even reside in North America, but I just thought it's an interesting offer. He's got a couple online game products, but I don't have them and have no interest in buying them, since online is mainly about using common sense and being someone who photographs well.

I'm the one putting on the contest.

The profiles we've been getting are very interesting. Some are really, really good. Others are really horrible. It's a very wide spread. I figured we'd get a bunch of mediocre ones but that hasn't been the case at all.

What's also interesting is that some women will rank some profiles 8 or 9 while other women will rank the exact same profile as 1 or 2, or even "zero". That really surprised me.
