But the conversation always fizzles out after time. I use humour and ask about interests, but after 5 messages or so it fades. What am i doing wrong?
Also, as a related point, I had a good connection with somebody I saw in a group. She seemed cool, but I had some key exams to do after that for about a week and couldn't continue. the connection ended on a good note, but I'm not sure how to start it back.

If this is a girl who you have never met in person before, however, then trying to attract her online is going to be difficult. maybe she isn't responding because you're not being funny/charming enough? are you commenting on what she's saying or just asking questions? also, I'd say try not to ask boring questions, ask her something that she'll love to start talking on. try and be a little flirty and witty.
to answer your second questions, even though the connection ended on a good note, the vibe could have just died down over the period you were not in contact with her. If you want to get the ball rolling again, I'd say just send her a text (on whatever vibe you left on) and see if she responds the same. or you can try calling her.
that is just my personal advice- I'm sure others have different opinions. I hope this helped! _________________ "Don't bitch about something you didn't get if you didn't work for it"
