I bet you opened this hoping I had an answer. Well, sorry buddy but I'm just as fuckin clueless as you are.

So why is it that tactics used on POF (messages, profile, etc.) are hardly translatable to OKC? i.e. I plug my pof profile into my okc one (fitting the format of course) and it suddenly does exponentially worse.

well the girls are definitely different on both sites. I sort of have POF figured out... just entertain them and get to know them while being silly (at least for me anyway).

OKC is a whole different monster though. Everything I do, I only attract the kinds of girls OKC says I wouldn't get along with that well (and upon reading their profiles, I see that OKC is probably right). It's like the whole fucking site is a crapshoot. I used to get decent results earlier this year, but I went ahead and changed my profile and now I'm in the red. Can't even remember what I originally had, so I gotta figure it out again.

Still, you'd think at least some tactics would carry over.

The girls on OKC are of much higher quality, and are generally prettier. As such, they require more effort. There's a lot of girls who went to college and who are well educated. For me that's a definite plus, but it does mean that it requires a bit more effort to set up dates and such. They want to be intellectually entertained. I would also advise against using too many routines via text. I rarely (Almost never) use canned material, so I haven't had any backlash, but it's awfully easy to copy and paste.

You also get screened much more intensively on OKC, when a girl checks out your profile, she usually checks out the questions you answered. That said, it also allows you to screen them more carefully, if such is your pleasure. I don't have much experience on POF, honestly the girls there kinda put me off.
