I was appying to a university and I met some girl quite a few months (maybe 5) ago who was doing the exactly same thing (i.e. applying to that same university). We chated online about the university and stuff for a series of emails.
In the end we didn't end up studying at the same uni (although our current universities are near now).
I asked her a few months ago how it is and she replied in just a few words saying she would reply more later when she haves time and posing some questions to me, then I replied and answered the questions. I got no answer again in a few weeks so I shut a subsequient e-mail after that asking where she is gone and if she's alright and how stuff is going there.
Then, I got no answer for a month and just now 3 days ago (I didn't check my mail until now) I get an email something like:
- Hello!!!
Sorry to have forgotten you. Well, I'm interested to know how this is going . question a) b) c) d). Write me when you have time. Bye.
A couple of points:
1) I'm just really interested in chatting with this girl yet. It's just for the fun of it.
2) Maybe I would meet her to look and chit-chat or stuff.
3) I once said in an imperative way "blah blah blah Well, ok now you send me your photo so that I could recognize you in the new university" and she just went like "Oh it depends there will be a lot of time yet etc etc" so it's likely something is not right. I'm not really sure. But I was not keen on the photo idea then so I let her away like that then.
So, now, when I got this e-mail, I wonder what I would reply. It's not into picking her up neceserilly but I'm interested in the techniques and what I should reply to any girl in this situation. I could just go with something like:
a) Now, it's all right you had me forgotten for a month. This happens.
Ok, now, the answers to your questions are: a b c d blah blah blah
(Err, this seems like it would suck)
b) What the fuck? You had forgotten to reply me for a month? You better have a fucking good explanation.
c) Wanna hear my answers? Okay, I'm free monday evening 4 pm. The club is blah blah blah see you there.
d) Some other shit.
Now:
a) Sounds sissy.
b) I'm not into seducing her without even knowing how she looks like anyway. Plus she might get pissed of and she still is interesting to chat with so I may not want to lose contact with her.
c) Same goes. I'm not into seducing her without even knowing how she looks like anyway.

Anyway, I wonder, what would an appropriate answer be. Not only for this case, I'm interested if whether this is a test. And in general pick-up, that is, if I was acting in a pick-upish way, what should the reaction be?
