how to build comfort through IM

alright, so i've been experimenting for the hell of it myspace pickups.

once i get their SN's, what are some things i can discuss during our IM conversation to build comfort and eventually lead to closing for the phone # and setting up a meeting?

i think it's going to be difficult to neg on IM so i hope you guys have some good ideas for me :D

way I understand it keep IM conversations short. comfort building should be done while you message back and forth on myspace; IM long enough only to # close. If need be that you neg on IM, remember that you cannot convey tonality or facial expression, so negs should follow more along the lines of "jeez you're weird" or "it'd never work out between us".
