I find that not having a photo tends to stave off the morons...not to mention those who feel the need to send me badly-worded, oft-misspelled suggestive missives. Really, if I wanted to read porn, I'd buy a Playgirl, not post a profile on match.

It tends to do wonders for the self-esteem when I can meet someone and find a good connection whose base does not rely on looks. It's been working for me so far!

I find this is a great way to boost your success rate with online dating. Because the women without pictures dont get as much mail, so its very likely they will reply, most the other guys are bombarding the very hot ones with mail and forgeting just because she does'nt have a pic does'nt mean she aint hot. On some sites it says their body type, hair colour and height anyway. Whats the worst that can happen from contacting them hey, you hit gold, keep it up man, this is a great way to get more dates online.

I would never send an e-mail to a girl without a pic. I would never meet a girl that doesn't have a pic. Girls WITH pics tend to misrepresent themselves in them, so I can't imagine what its like with the girls that aren't even confident enough to not have a pic up on their profiles. Any excuse they make will be bullshit 90% of the time. Trust me. Don't be desperate enough to meet a girl you've never seen. That's just ridiculous, and you are setting yourself up for an hour of conversation with a girl that you are in no way, shape, or form attracted to. If a girl is hot, she will put her pic up in order to attract men as it is one of her finer attributes. If she isn't putting any pic up, she is hoping that she can have a guy click with her first, then pray he isn't let down by her looks. Just talking from experience.
