Nice. Sadly it depends on the girl replying (in my experience girls don't respond to compliments online too well) and her ability to take a neg cuz that one is quite harsh in my opinion

I'm not sure that's even a neg. If the girl knows the photo is real and you say it's so great looking it's hard to even believe it's real, she should be flattered. You're basically telling her she looks so good it's unbelievable.

So...that's only a good way to open if you're not looking to get a response. I might use *something* like that to tease after I'm well into an interaction.

Sometimes I run something along the lines of "Are you sure you aren't a really a man trying to seduce hot young guys...cause my mom warned me about you ;)"

I tweaked this a little and gave it a shot.
My tweaked version;

Wow.. you look STUNNING in your pictures
are they photoshopped? (All in the first message)

I sent this to about 8 HB's and got about 5 replys. It's a small text group, but not a bad reply rate.
If they say they have edited their pictures I say something like "That's cheating... but don't worry, I'll keep your secret!"
If they say they have not edited their pictures I say something like "That's good, two points for you!"

I find this is very similar to the "Are you wearing makeup" Opener.
