so I have been experimenting different strategies on facebook, the one that always gets a response is this:

"hey thanks for helping me win a bet with my buddy!!"

I almost always get a response from saying this as a first message. any ideas on how to continue this conversation though. I cant think of any bets that I can make up to keep them interested or second messages for that matter. I have tried a few but they are not very good. any help is appreciated

Few women want to be the subject of anyone's bet. If you get further with her she is going to secretly wonder if there is a bet on to get her in bed, kiss her, etc. She won't trust your feelings as being genuine. In my opinion you are just setting yourself up for failure here.

I tend to stay away from facebook sarging... If i cant go out to a club at night i will mess around on Meetme.com... I find it is way harder to sarge online because they can be busy and not reply for a few days later and its just plain boring

i have used this and been experimenting with a few openers, i get most replies from 'hey was that you i saw on tv?' then when they say no i reply with ' i didn't think so but thanks for helping me win a bet with my buddy' and from there i string it out saying it doesn't matter what the bet was, it was nothing bad and use small talk then when you feel like you could loose her or she takes a lot longer than usual to reply i say whats your number i will text you what i bet on you with my mate, this hasnt failed me yet for a number close and i tell them the bet was that it wasnt her on tv lol.
