Anyway about a week ago I messaged her asking if she fancied grabbing a few drinks sometime. However I've had no reply and I know she has seen it! So what should I do? Just leave it and give up on her or write her another message? If so, what should I write back because I dont want to appear needy etc?

I think you waited too long. Unless you had amazing rapport and you had given her the blast of a lifetime, 1 week between interactions seems too long to me.
She probably forgot and had time to realize "what should I do? go out with this stranger? why did I even give him my FB?"

plus, you were not direct "sometime - some drinks"..next time try and say "I am going to X place at Y time - wanna join me?"
