Have absolutely no idea how to respond whether this is a shit test to see if I pursue or what. Can anybody advise please?

id take it as a shit test- but definitely continue to pursue. it could be she really has a date or maybe not; either way shes using it to express HV and that shes wanted. look past it for now and keep knockin.
