I would skip all the internet dating formalities and ask you out for a drink but, as you know, the internet can be a dangerous and murky place. So I have devised some carefully selected vetting questions to ensure my safety:

1. Which is bluer the ocean or the sky?
2. Peanut butter or strawberry jam?
3. Early mornings or late nights?

Now this is just an example from the site that posted it. I've been tailoring it to the specific target's profile as far as the questions go. Just wanted some opinions on what you guys think. Ive had decent success with getting 1st responses so far.

Well, I have been field testing it. So far I am getting about a 25-30% response rate. So not great but not terrible either. I just wanted opinions on if you guys think it's a decent opener or not.

Hmmm like you said, 'Not great but not terrible either'. A stronger manly frame is what you should be putting across in the opener. Yours unfortunately isn't bold enough. I always advocate the Direct Approach, do a search in the threads. Remember you can't be all things to all people, so anything that gets a 50%+ positive rate is a good approach.

IMO, good opener. Keep it. I'd change the questions around a bit. But the format is actually good. I've used it a few times and got a good response rate.

Put it in my rotation of openers.
