Ok heres the deal, I just recently made a myspace and I have only sent friend requests to my close friends and some others I have known for a while. Im not sure whether to hit up the girls ive met a few times here and there or if that comes across as a little too eager? Should I wait a little bit and see if these girls contact me first?

Myspace should be used in 3 scenarios. (imho)

1. If you don't think a woman is close enough for a number close and you have to leave... Ask for her myspace page. It is less threatening than her # yet she probably checks it more often than she answers her phone.

2. If you recieve a myspace address when recieving a number or something like that. It means she wants you to check it out and/or you may be able to learn more about her that way. IF you reaaaaallly wanna do that.

3. Checking out your target without her knowing. If this is the case, you just have your own blank myspace page that you never give out... and then you just search for hers with the information you have gleaned from your talks. Alot of young women use this as a diary of sorts and if you find it without them knowing then you may have a leg up on certain things.... just don't forget the movie "Bedazzled"! Just cause they write that they like sensitivity... doesn't mean you cry at the damn sunset!

I've heard myspace called "the greatest timewaster online". Possibly true (I think youtube, wikipedia and digg.com can beat it, though), but to me, it's a useful gaming tool. Think about the time you spend on these forums. When I'm on here (and I know I haven't been much, lately. I know you've missed me. No, stop it, flowers? Oh, that's too much) I'm usually on myspace too. Surf your friend's friend's spaces, and you can easily find HBs that live in the same city. And on a page that's all about her and her interests, it's not hard to find a reason to msg them (I like to msg, rather than use comments. Creates more of an intimate feeling). Once you've got some msg conversations happening, (CF, Cat string and DHV to make her love you) it's not difficult to get a number or an email. I've made heaps of good friends, that might yet be turned into something more. When my game's stronger. An I stop being a pussy. And I grow horns. Horns would get so many girls.

myspace is OK, it's a decent opener in itself.

Girls who are popular tend to respond pretty well to negs concerning her tastes, for example. If there is any place where sense of humor combined with culture pays off, that's online. Take note, as long as friends you make online pass from "virtual" to real quickly enough.

Granted, it's not too difficult to stand out between those "Oh! You is da most beutiful girl I see!" nerds.

But you see what I mean.

Hi all
yes, I am a girl (sharp intakes of breath!), but I'm on Myspace and facebook blah blah blah...one thing I would suggest, if I may, is don't just send friend requests with no messages. Any girl on myspace who isn't hideous (and am sure they get it too!) gets loads of them and basically now I personally can't be bothered to reply to anyone who can't be arsed to write me a message...doesn't have to be long, but just write and say hi or neg or whatever...but say something! Sounding like you actually read a bit of her profile is good, makes it sound like you didn't just look at her pic, think 'wow' and not bother to read about her at all. So maybee a comment about something she said she likes or a joke about something she's mentioned is good (well i can only speak for things I may respond to).

And top tip...don't use fake pics! I have had that a couple of times and am not that stupid, I can spot a fake model pic a mile away and it's obvious that these guys are not models! Personally i don't go for that 'perfect' look anyway, too fake...but then, a nice smile in a pic goes a long way :D

Thanks for the welcome...thought I might get an onslaught of abuse telling me to feck off out of here lol

You can call me Red...it's not my real name of course, but it works!

I'm single and have had various experiences with meeting guys online, either in person or just it being online chat...I feel pretty clued up about it and some guys are so rubbish, they ruin it for the rest of you at times!

Lol...think PUA tips are cool if they make someone and yourself feel good...no harm done.
It's the lying crap that makes a girl crazy...I know enough guys who have said a girl has gone bunny boiler on them...too keen, too needy. It's very simple why.
They told her stuff that made her think something more would happen with them, they start hot hot hot with her, often bombarding with sentiment, compliments etc...she then becomes keen and responds in kind thinking she can coz he did it first, then guy freaks out, panics and thinks 'oh god she's desperate or too much' and they then blank her and move on without saying another word to her. However, she is left wondering what the feck happened and will keep contacting to try and get an answer (yes, I used to be stupid and did that a long time ago, I know others who still do that, luckily, not me). Simple...but true nine times out of ten.
Best thing as far as I'm concerned, is honesty.
If you like a girl, show it without smarm (after negging maybe lol!) and if you don't...just tell her and she'll get over you asap. leave her wondering and she'll keep hassling you. Well...low self esteem girls will. Others who know better will just move on themselves.
My humble, not asked for, opinion lol :)

Hi Red,

It also happens to me frequently that girls invite me to be their friend, and after I accept, then they send me an introductory message. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Does not go without saying, I do appreciate hearing something. It makes me feel like less of a statistics feeder (if you know what I mean).

hey red,

throw this post into the 'introduce yourself' section.

but welcome to the forums.... i have been (and still am) part of other forums where women are highly involved. their contribution is invaluable to many threads. it would be great to have a womens ideas who have knowledge about the game and can bring another perspective in.

enjoy....

Thank you for the welcome, it's much appreciated.

I'll re-post that as you suggested but I have a feeling at least one guy will respond in the 'what the feck does she know' or 'why is she even here' kinda thing! But that's their problem, not mine :)
Until these sites ban girls, then I don't see why we can't join in lol.
As you say, maybe what we have to say can be invaluable

youll prob get more than one.............

many men have a him Vs her mindset or are here due to past issues that they have had to deal with and are trying to come back or see women as a wall to knock down or conquer (which isnt what the case should always be--- only almost always..... :D )

Yeah, I can see that man verses woman thing, but anyone like that definitely has issues...men are bastards, women are bitches...that's what some people really think, sad but true...I am too open and forgiving to think this way lol

When it comes to online sarging, the basic "hey i think your cute, hope we can chat sometime never works"! From my expeirience almost every single girl that I have met and closed online has been the same. In all honesty I could guarentee you right now, with my current level of "game" on the field..I probably couldnt have closed a single one of the girls that I have met on myspace lol! I guess you could say my area of expertise if any is Myspace sarging.

TIPS:

* For your main picture have something interesting... for instance on my main picture i had a "peacock" theory pic of me screaming at the camera with a hideous face wearing a dodgeball headband...This pic alone made a few girls contact me.

- Hide how many friends and your top friends...keeps them wondering about you/ your popularity...plus if you plan on sarging alot on myspace then you dont want them all talking with eachother.

- Make it so all comments must be approved before they are posted

- And now for my openers...
I will tend to open right up with a neg on some girls..like "thats a funny picture lol"

I will find a common interest by looking at the picture on thier myspace and writing down things in the background that give me an idea of what she likes (besides whats already on her profile)
EXAMPLE: a friend of mine met a girl on match com and saw a bunch of cow statues on her mantle in a pic behind her. so on there first date he brough her a cow toy and knocked her off her feet!

I will search friends profile and use the freind of a friend routine...

These may not be the best tips, but they have worked for me. I have met, dated and sealed the deal with over a dozen women from just myspace.

- Fifty
