Ive been seeing a lot of ads for the Adult Friend Finder site, but it looks like a total scam. Has anyone here used it or heard anything about it?

Sadly my ex-wife and I used it with horrible results. It's full of gays elderly and scamers.

I messed around with AFF a year or two ago and found that roughly 65% of the profiles are fake. You will get emails from them trying to trick you to sign up for one of the other dating sites. It really pissed me off as I had a paid membership.

Hardkink is right - there are a ton of gays on the site and they were actively trying to hook up with me despite having no expressed interest in guys.

I would recommend not paying for it and trying something else. If you do happen to find success (or even real people) on that site or another though Id love to hear about it.

I met a woman off that site and it was good for a while. An older woman but in great shape for her age xD.

I know of at least 2 private FB groups of real people from there but most of them are bloggers. The most real people are bloggers or in general groups. However bloggers only account for about 1% of members although more comment and don't blog.

however 60-70% of accounts on there are inactive. they don't get rid of old accounts so they can say they have x million members.

Most/all fakes are younger. Your best bet is to target older women. If you're a guy you have to pay to write unsolicited mail and read profiles properly but you can reply to incoming. That means if you had kick-ass profile and pictures you could conceivably manage without paying. You can use the IM for free I think.

If you have time and like to write and write well, it's not hard to become known in blogging/group circles. It's all about networking/commenting. They have meetups and some are even pretty hot. The average age of bloggers is roughly 40 so there's not a lot of younger guys doing it and all the top bloggers are female.

m:f ratio is about 10:1 but by all accounts at least 6/10 guys have completely no clue how to write females on there.

Lock down your cupid settings and make sure mail not matching is sent to the filtered folder. There's an option for that somewhere. A lot of people are on a site called passion which is effectively a different front end and theme for the same database.
