When messaging a possible prospect, I usually follow the majority, ie Interesting subject line and one or two line body.
However I've been reading matchbook. It advises do longer canned messages, with some story telling or Push/Pull.
What do you guys have better luck with in getting a higher reply rate?

I'm about at 80-120 words. Along with good content in my profile my response rate is excellent.
a couple problems with short messages
1. you get reply in short messages and thus don't build much attraction or rapport and if you do it takes too long
2. you come off as a guy without much tio say.
I never used canned material because its usually super obvious. Also a great tip i have learned is to wait a day between sending and answering emails, this build attraction and makes you appear to have higher value given scarcity and valuing your time.
So I dont liek any of that advice you have been given thus far. You can ask yoru question to Jsmooth, he has a lot of experience with online dating and hes much nicer and classier then I am
