The other night, I was trimming down my facebook friends. I had 94 or 95 and I took it down to 87. 43 of those 87 remaining friends are female. Now it should be said that I'm not one of these guys who goes around collecting as many facebook friends as possible. I only add people that I actually know - or at least used to know.
Anyway, after I cut those 7 or 8 friends, this is what I posted: "I spent some quality time with the 'unfriend' button, so if you're reading this, congradulations! You are still in my 'cool book'!
It was the biggest response I had ever gotten on facebook. It got 7 likes (5 were from females) and 15 comments (11 from females).

Who cares, if it doesn't amount to hookups than it means absolutely nothing, no offense. I wouldn't see somebody clicking a 'like' button on fb as an IOI.

If you need 100 Kudo points to F-close, this would score you 0.1 of a point.

That said it's funny how a minor thing like this can get the ball rolling sometimes, and it is rapport building to a point. Still hardly worth mentioning as pick-up tactic really.
