Okay, so say you see a smoking hot chick on facebook, but she doesn't live anywhere near you, you've never met her, and you've got about 2 mutual friends who mean nothing to you. How do you start a conversation with her that isn't a) creepy, b) short and uninteresting?

I still haven't quite figured this one out. Facebook isn't a venue where people are out to look for new people (usually), and they especially aren't looking for partners (particularly the hot girls), so I find coming up with an opener to be difficult. Opinion openers just come across as surveys, direct openers just end up with "who the fuck are you", and if you just ask "what's up" she probably won't even respond.

So what's a way of initiating conversation on facebook? Has anyone had success here?

Firstly I wouldn't talk to girls too much on Facebook as it can make you one of those creepy guys who spends half his life on Facebook. You can become so addicted to it as it's so easy to hide your emotions behind a screen you can start losing social skills.

But, in saying this, just add her and ask if you've met before or say you think you've spoken before. What I like to do is send messages, NOT ON THEIR WALL. Hot chicks get that stuff all the time. Be different playa!
