A girl gave me her number but specified she might call me later after an event. How do I ensure she calls or should I call her/text her at that time? More experienced POF members- what's your advice?

Here's her initial message, that was then followed by just her phone number (after I ask for it):

I actually have that baby shower til about 7-ish than I am

At this point in time it's too late to ensure anything. You will have to wait and see if she calls.

Don't call her first. If she really wants to talk to you she will and then you know she is interested. Basically forcing an IOI

I don't really do text game to be honest.

If she is teasing that she may come I'd try teasing that she wouldn't be allowed over anyway.

Like you are the prize and she hasn't earned the right to hang out with you yet. It all depends on the context though. Like if you said 'you should come over' and then said 'I wouldn't open the door to you anyway trouble' it would be a bit weird.

I should probably point out that a key word in that is 'trouble'. It means until she proves to you that she is not trouble she ain't getting in. So she will feel obliged to qualify herself to you putting you in control.
