So ive read various reports on what photos to use?

What are everyones thoughts on:

Professional photos - im getting some taken this weekend and was wondering what angle or approach i should look at?? Should i tell the photography studio they are for online dating or just go for a corporate or social networking look?

Photos with women - some dating websites crop photos of you with other people down, i have one with a really hot model type of me, its not my greatest photo but it does have me and a hb9 in it, use or leave out?

Amount of photos to use - Should i go with 2 professional ones and say 1 activity eg me white water rafting or swimming with dolphins?
I also have one of me dressed as a top gun pilot in full overalls and sunnies which i think is quite popular with the ladies

Any other suggestions are great

You want photos of you out doing the things you love. If you say that you are into hiking, baseball, and skydiving. Then you want pictures of you doing those things. These are not only better than boring still shots they show that you are congruent with what you said in your profile.

In addition to that I recommend at least one no more than two photos with women. This gives you the DHV for pre-selection and conveys you have healthy relationships with women.

The potrait headshots from a professional are a nice touch but you really don't have to get those. Just a descent digital camera will work just fine.

I don't know if I'd tell them it's for online dating. They are experts at taking the phoots not always in how best to implement them.
