Hi. I'm looking for any feedback concerning my OkCupid profile. My username is xJxAxIxMxEx thanks in advance for any help

To be fair I'm pretty good with online game. So I want to help you out so please don't take any of this as complaining I can just be direct at times.

The first thing I immediately notice is your photo. To be fair you're a handsome guy. You kind of look all hard core and gangsta in it. It'd probably be better if you had one where you were actually smiling. Also I notice you just have the two photos. You want to use photos of you actually out doing the things you say you like to do. This builds congruency in your profile and shows you as active...not just snapping photos at home.

Your opening line is "I like to work hard and play hard" you want a line here that is really going to get the woman's attention. Something like this is very cliche' and is used by tons and tons of people every single day. Try to be a bit more creative like... "Warning: The side effects of talking to me are: happiness, smiling...."

Then you go on to say... "When not studying, I’m most often spending time with friends. We usually hit a bar for a few drinks, play Xbox, football, or just joke around. I really enjoy competition and watching football. I'm a die hard 49er fan.

I am very goal oriented. When I see something I want, I go after it. I recently came back from Wyoming to make some extra money to buy a car.

I enjoy my quiet time. I like to play video games to escape from reality. "

First of all, try to use better punctuation and grammar this is a big thing for guys profiles online! Also don't just start out listing what you enjoy doing. See it doesn't really allow the girl to capture what you are like and who you are. It tells her what you like to do which is good but you really need to convey your personality in your profile up front!

Then you went on to say..."I'm working on becoming a Psychologist to help kids and young adults. I enjoy working with people." Dude that is totally cool and a huge DHV this needs to be moved up toward the front of your profile.

So maybe something like, "I enjoy helping kids and young adults so I'm working to become a psychologist as I love working with people! Being driven, and goal oriented in my life is a large part of who I am. I recently just returned from Wyoming just to make some extra money for this new cara I'm going to buy. When I'm not out with friends for a few drinks, I'm playing XBOX, or football. P.S. Brownie points for you if you're as big of a 49ers fine as I am. Don't get me wrong through I enjoy my quiet time as well and just escaping life stress."

The other thing is you are going to need to put in a little bit about the type of girl you are looking for. You want girl to read a few sentences to a short paragraph and say..."that's me" and she instantly knows she is your type.

Futhermore, the rest of your profile is pretty good but I'd expand on what music and movies you like. the more you put the more likely a girl will see things she is into as well and identify with your profile.

You got a little work to do, mostly with the pictures, and happy hunting!

First of all thanks JSmooth for taking the time to take a look at my profile and I really appreciate your feedback.

I'm going to make the suggested changes asap. The only reason I used that photo because it got a lot of likes from girls on facebook. I have some other photos of me with other girls but they've never got much of a reaction from the ladies. I will let you know when I've made all the changes but until then if anyone else had any suggestions I'd appreciate it'll

Sorry it took me all day, but I finally made the adjustments to my profile. Let me know if I missed anything and give me some feedback on the other photos I uploaded please.

Bravo!!! I only have two small nit picky things left and these are totally minor suggestions. I'd get rid of the smoking weed part but if you get that question turn up then answer it truthfully. I just wouldn't display it that early in my profile. I'd let a girl know after I got to know her a bit better.

This is a lot better. You are a lot easier to identify with. I can see where we'd get along cause I totally like Blood In / Blood Out, other movies you listed, the Sopranos, etc. If I was a girl I could see if I was your type. The only other thing I'd add about the girl is what would her personality be like...is she confident, shy, energetic, positive outlook, what?

Other than that man I think you're ready to rock. I didn't double check your spelling and grammar but assuming you're good there!

Thanks again JSmooth. As for what I'm looking for I went with this. I was debating with myself on whether the Eva Mendez thing is a bit much. I mean it gives them a good idea of what I'm looking for right?

That's better. Still a little vague I'd think about one or two other qualities you might want. Things to think about just to jog your memory.
