I'm a newcomer to the PUA world, both IRL and online.
There's this HB8 who studied in college with me, and now happens to work at the same place as I do. We've never really talked to each other in college, but we had a few quick conversations after we found out we were working in the same company - most of them were really quick, 2 or 3 lines from each at most. We're strangers to each other, really.

I added her on Facebook, and yesterday, around 10:30 PM, I decided I'd talk to her:
Me: Hey =)!
HB8.5: Hey =]!
Me: Recommend me a movie to watch today haha.
HB8.5: hmm...

geez...I don't know

Me: this suggestions says a lot about your personality haha
I'll watch it anyway!
HB8.5: hahaha, really?

Me: you tell me =] what do you think it says?
HB8.5: hahaha, I have no idea!
romantic? hahaha
Me: I guess so! But I'd only be able to tell if I get to know you better haha.
HB8.5: hahaha
Me: so, what are the plans for today?
HB8.5: I waaaas going out with a friend
but he had to work until late, so it didn't happen
I guess I'll stay home lol
what about you? (*Here, I went for like...5 or more minutes without answering. Didn't know what to say!)

None of my replies were quick. I always took my time to think, and to not look desperate. Might have lost my pace on that last part though, since she didn't wait for my reply and announced she was heading off.
Later on, around 3 AM, she went back online and I happened to be there too. But I didn't talk to her, nor did she talk to me. I really didn't know what to say and I was very sleepy...really afraid to ruin things haha.
So guys, what should I do now? I'd like to establish a better rapport through Facebook before migrating this to the IRL world...what do you guys say? What can I say to her today?
Important notes: all this conversation was not held in English. The translation is pretty accurate, but you know, it's impossible to keep all the semantics and everything intact.
Also, I'm a newbie at this haha. Maybe it was very beta to ask for a movie suggestion 10:30 PM in a saturday...alpha dudes are screwing girls at this time. I thought about telling her how I still didn't get to watch the movie, since I had to go out figure some things out with a girl who's been pestering me for a while (total lie haha), but I dunno if that's a good approach.
