Have a friend with a DSLR follow you around and snap a bunch of pics. Get a very high quality and cool pic and your main pic. Your second pic should be of you doing something cool or interesting. Doesnt have to be taken with a DSLR. Your third should be of you out having fun with friends. Again, the thired doesnt have to be taken from a DSLR either.

Do that and your response rate will go up.
