Whats good fellas? I'm a 27 year old man living with muscular dystrophy and i've been unsuccessful in online dating. I've also been told that i look 16 and I can't seem to grow a beard. POF for example, I have alot of females view my profile but don't message me. When I try to message them, some would respond but the convo usually is not going anywhere and there some profiles where I have been blocked to message them. I live in Alabama and I think the female in my area are picky or stuckup especially the overweight ones. Hell, there was some female who might be interested but they live in different states. I have some images where I'm sitting in my powerchair so they are aware that i'm disabled. In some rare cases, some would ask if i am a female and i'm like wtf? What i'm trying to ask is it my disability, looks or how i dress play a role in being unsuccessful at online dating?

Have you tried a muscular dystrophy or disabled persons dating site?

Wtf man. For once, I'd like to see someone on this forum come AFTER doing everything possible and say "I've tried EVERYTHING, NOW can you give me advice?"

I mean, look man, I'm just pissed you didnt at least try it. If I were disabled, I'd have tried everything before having a question. Alot of guys here just want answers for no effort. Online = women have more options, pictures important. So yeah you have a tough road ahead. You have ALOT of work to do to get some results from it.

Personally im not trying to date another disabled person because it not going to work.

Your disability is your strength. Remember that. If a chick looks down on you because of it, screw them because they're obviously a shitty person. Be confident and keep pursuing what you want!

What are you messaging them with?

Its not going to be easy, being that online dating is as shallow as is comes, but i think if you get a clever enough opener (PM me for one if you need) and spam it long enough you should be able to snag a girl that is curious to find out what you're about.
