I think pua has led a lot of people to believe you can get any girl you want.

This is totally untrue, pua is to increase the general chances with this travel/high value looking life that will better attract the overall female population. However you know 100% in life there is no such thing as "universal", not even talking pua here. For example, you want something strong it is generally heavy, you want something light weight it is generally weaker. Now pua seeks the middle, have a little bit of this have a little bit of that to better attract to overall population the "universal". However universal trades on some of the special advantages of yourself.

What the hell do I mean by this? Kayne got Kim. Kim Khardashian has a specific type for very dark men. Us white guys can DHV and Travel to our arms fall off, we wont ever get a Kim. So with our universal pua profile we are going to lose out on these specialty types where as you win. However as a general population I would say yes you lose out on more but for every disadvantage there is an advantage. You can get Kim, we cant. So my point is find a place where you can use your disadvantage (being dark skinned) to your advantage. I'm saying what Dragula basically said just from a different perspective.

You can also use your skin color to your advantage for online profiles too. Look at some of the most famous comedians of all time, not only do they embrace their race but they use it to their advantage in routines. Dave chapelle made a whole skit on the N word and it's funny as hell. It's a certain type of confidence that you can embrace your own race and make fun of it at the same time. Use it to your advantage!

If you're a black guy in Africa and want the non white girls who live there, your chances are better because these girls may be more open to/have done interracial dating.

You got to play the cards you've been given bud. If there's nothing you can do about a situation then leave it and move on otherwise you end up with a self limiting belief.

It's very true depending on the type of girls you are attracted to. If you're black and you like Asian or White girls, you're at a disadvantage cause online people tend to show their colors more. Most Asian and White girls online only date white guys, so with them you got to play the numbers game.
The key to success in finding those few that are open minded is your pictures.
If you are not that good looking or overweight, the tweaks you need is your fashion and clean groomed think GQ. If you're taking pics no selfies and no pictures with kids(nieces, nephews, etc.) and blur out faces if you insist on using group pics.

Weird though that at the club I work at I get tons of girls jumping on me asking me for my number but online I don't even get any girls checking out my profile.

I don't know unless its demographics of females who use online dating. I've seen a few attractive females in my area who pretty much say flat-out on their profile, "I'm only into black guys.".

With some women it may fighting an uphill battle, for sure. But I'd guess a lot it could be something else other than racial barriers.
