She had a pic on her profile of a meme basically saying if your 5'7 and say you like short girls your just short yourself. I messaged her that it was really funny. She agrees with a few comments and lols. I ask her how tall is she. She answers. I joke around about height then she asks what am I looking for in from this site.

I get no respond

Me: Ha-ha naw life is always better with cool people around you. What about you?"

Me: Serious relationship, friends with benefits, friend, or enemy lol?
She: anything but enemy
Me: (Trying to be funny) Well I'm looking for an enemy right now, will you be my enemy
She: Ha Sure
Me: So since I had to keep my friends close and enemies closer, so since you bout to become a new rival. I need to argue with you about spontaneous things at random times. So I'm going to need your number.

Then nothing, I've message a few more times but I get nothing. Where did I go wrong and can I fix this?

Personally, when a girl asks what you are looking for, you should be honest. If you're looking for sex then say it, in a low key type of way, like it's natural and normal.

Your replies sounded like you were looking for sex, but did not have the guts to say it openly/clearly. This type of half way things seem to turn off women in my experience.

Next time, try to say it with conviction. What's the worst that can happen? that she disappears...well she wasn't looking for the same thing as you anyway then. But from my experience, she will like your honesty enough to listen to you a little longer...

Her replies were too short with no investment. Bad time to ask for the date. When girls do this, you need to BUST THEIR BALLS until you get some life out of her messages.

More investment.

Ask for date when only when it has some back and forth momentum and she is asking you questions and seems curious. That's when you know you got a good lead. The girl in this story, she was a bad lead the whole time.
