POF... the lady folk around where I am literally put 0 effort into typing up anything about themselves. so i got bored and typed up a really stupid msg with nothing valuable in it at all. how is it that I have got more replies from this in a couple hours than I have in months of trying online.

thats it. what is going on these women's brains that triggers them to answer this and not other and imo much better and sometimes more personal msgs

The reason it is working is because you are adroitly doing what is called 'entering the conversation that is currently going on in her mind.' Another way to put this is that you are 'pacing her ongoing reality.'

You have perfectly described her experience when she signs on to POF - the same general experience she has every single day of her life - so she - they - are replying.
