Not only did you neg when you didn't need to, but you used a neg that you'd be called out on like half the time you'd use it (a LOT of girls know about negs these days...)

Negs are unnecessary for the most part. They have their place - but you're a beginner. Don't use them, cause you'll probably use them wrong (their intended use is on girls who won't give you the time of day because they're 10s, or girls who are being a bitches to you, and they're meant to take a girl's ego down a notch).

Negging doesn't tend to work because most guys don't know how to do it corrctly. And if you're going to neg you neg something that obviously isn't true.

If you neg something a woman is self-conscious about she's going to get angry (unless she has zero self-esteem - but I wouldn't want a woman like that).

I bust on women all the time and I don't consider it negging because I'm not insulting her - just teasing her. I usually neg something she's wearing because it's a choice; having the jawline of a cartoon rabbit isn't a choice. You want to be a challenge but not come off as a jerk or a blatent negger (if there's even such a word).
