the only good thing about it is that it is short. The rest is quite boring other than your career which is kinda cool. (I used to play semi-pro for a bit). I wouldn't say you are looking for nothing serious even if you are, and try to add some humor or something special other than that you are a pro poker player

I messaged like 50 girls and only got 2 replies.
Is this normal for most people?
Maybe I need to get some better photos.

Sounds low to me. Then again I don't use POF because it is the shittiest dating site out there. My response rate last time I did the random girl experiment with my openers (which I can't tell you because they are customized / profile) I got a 35% response rate.

I don't know the UK, but in the us Match.com is the best and if you are in a city, okcupid is way better than POF.
