That is the problem.
Online game can actually be easier for absolute newbies:
- larger numbers: it takes a few seconds to send an opener to a lot of different chicks. IRL you spend more time opening each girl
- rejections are inherently less hurtful because there is no DLV to those around you
- most of the chicks are obviously there to get laid in one way or another, so if they reply, the guarantee of even a brief interest is there
Of course, you need to then get them out and go on dates, or it's a pretty pointless exercise.
