Well, she didn't take it too well.. and told me as a tip to not say this again to someone.
Then I said that I think that I pushed it a bit too far indeed.
Since then she didn't reply anymore. shall I send her another message or leave it for a couple of days?

If you leave it for a few days it'll seem like you've been flustered. It'll be a huge DLV because it'll seem like you're tentatively crawling back. You need to talk with the same frequency you had been before. If you'd been messaging her daily before, keep it up. If you break the pattern it will seem like you're backing off on purpose. She'll know exactly what you're up to.
My advice: Say hello to her on facebook IM next time she's on and don't bring it up. Just talk like you were.
Having said that, I'm not sure you're going to rescue it very easily. It depends how invested she is in you... but after one date, I'm not sure it'll be enough.
