Got to know this bird on POF. Was going great, she added me on facebook. Lives in my area.

I got to know her over Facebook, and we were supposed to meet this week. She seemed fairly keen. She usually replied within 10 minutes or on the day.

Then 3 days later... (FACEBOOK CONVO)
Great conversation....then...

HB:"I've just found out you know my cousin Sarah, she lives in blah blah area"
(I used to know her cousin from school, I didn't realise they were related...tried to sarge her last year...it didn't work out well)

ME:"Hey, oh yeah! We went to school together, it's a small world eh!" I then made a short sentence about the day, trying to reframe the situation.

HB: No reply

next day...no reply

ME:"Hey how are you doing, I've just been admitted to hospital, gotta stay for a few days...hope you're well!"

HB: No reply


Day 5
Me"Hey just got home, you wouldn't believe what happened!



No reply since. I know that she's read my messages as it shows up as "read" on facebook and she's still active on facebook.

I have no idea what's happened. Should I forget this one or try and salvage the situation?
