It could of been the "say we've been dating for like 6 months" part. It's almost like a girl saying, "let's say we've been married for 6 months".

BTW, I used to use the lol and faces a lot but now I use them on rare occasions. After thinking about it and analyzing some of my texts and chats, it does seem a bit girly. I know it shows politeness but use your words to be cocky funny and rely less on the lol and the faces.
