Basically I graduated high school 2 years ago and randomly this cute girl I knew came up on my Facebook suggested friends list so I added her and started talking to here. At first I thought it was going in my favor but then I just felt like the mood went down hill...so basically instead of dragging it out I just left her with my number...Remember guys, my second week at pick up lol.. here it goes.

Me: Her HB 7! You should have seen my face when I saw you come up on my suggested friends page...Thought I saw a ghost for a second lol.

HB 7: Lmao me too wats good!!!

Me: The same old really...just school and work work wwork...How's it been going for you?
**heres where I fucked up....that just changed the mood drastically**

Hb 7: Shit lefy my bf and moved with my family and son(oh no kids)

Me: Shitty because you left your bf or shitty becuase you dont like your family?

HB 7: Shitty cuz I gotta start from the bottom im happy I left my bf and lov my fam but now me and my son gotta start from nothing it sux

Me: okay understandable. But on the bright side a lot of good things can happen with a new beginning...

For the most part this is how I end up talking to girls on Facebook anyways so I was just wowndering where can I improve on. Sorry about all the misplaced W's...I need to clean my keyboard and I was in too much of a rush to fix them.

I think you knew where you f'ed up (since you said it yourself)... right when you said "same ol'...school and work". Very typical answers. Something such as "It's a secret. I'll tell you after you take me out for a drink", "planning to take over the world" or some other non serious answer is much better than "school and work".

To try and recover, you could message her on Facebook and say, "Did you hear what happened?" She'll say no, what happened. Then you say, "I don't know, that's why I'm asking you silly. Forget it. What kind of trouble are you causing right now"

Thanks I'll give it a shot in a few days. But yeah I know where I fuck up I just don't really know what to say instead and waiting a while to text back could lose the effect of a conversation.

How about going after other girls on Facebook and avoid putting all of your energy into this one girl (oneitis)? I know it might seem hard to do and unnatural since us guys have egos but if you can put your ego aside and continue on without fear of rejection, you'll eventually be unstoppable *cue Rocky music*
