Never make this the last thing you say in a message....always ask another question of make some sort of comment, so that there isn't too much importance placed on getting the number.

Dude if you don't have the capacity to think of the bigger picture, or to say anything constructive...then quite frankly....go and fall on a spike!

Fall on a spike? Why don't you fall on the bed of a fakir. In fact, why don't you become a fakir, just so you can prepare yourself for the covered hole with spikes waiting for you near your doorstep. Still, even that won't help you, because in this case the bed of nails will be falling from above.
