| In no specific order, a few things I think might help you. I wish you luck:
Keep in mind I'm by no means amazing at this. I've only done it for about a month, with some numbers and dates. I've seen a massive increase in success with each passing week but I still have a long way to go. So take this advice with a grain of salt, but perhaps try it anyway.
Pictures
-Pictures pictures pictures, lets face it they're quite important. No you don't HAVE to be good looking (although in online game it helps a lot). But the pictures have to capture her imagination.
- Try and make at least 1/3 of them include other people, some with a girl in them, some with guy friends... whatever. Alone at home in front of a webcam or a mirror shot doesn't inspire confidence
- Make them active, diverse and happy. Be doing something in them, be smiling, and have a variety of pics on there. Of course you can have 1-2 "regular" ones of you sitting somewhere smiling for the camera alone, but don't make all of 'em like that.
Profile
I'm conflicted on this. I've had success with a variety of profiles, and I've seen success stories with many different styles. Honest and genuine, funny, cocky... long... short. Whatever, I don't think there is a 100% clear cut rule on a perfect profile. But there are things to aim for:
- Stand out, stay away from cliche phrases
- Proper or at least semi-proper grammar and spelling
- Leave a little mystery, don't tell her your life story in full detail.
- Humor never hurts
The stand out part is probably the hardest for anyone to grasp and create. I'd recommend you go look through a hundred guys profiles on your site and see what your competition is. Look for patterns. Then avoid them. For example "My name is X I'm a nice guy".
Openers
Shorter tends to be better at getting a higher % of girls to respond. Longer gets less girls to respond but those that do are more hooked. I've used both to some success, but overall I think I prefer shorter for the free sites (and most people on here tend to do the same).
- Again, STAND OUT. None of that "Hi" or "Hey babe" or "Hey whats up".
- There's a few canned openers that you can copy and paste which work well at getting a response, the problem is how you follow up on it.
- While practicing, use volume. Message girls outside your area, or girls you're not attracted to as throw away practice sets. See what works and what doesn't, then try what works on girls you do want.
