I'm usually the relationship guy, fresh out of a break up, been out of the game too long, never been really good at picking up women, my venue kinda restricts me to online dating since I'm not really the type to go out on my own and most of my buddies are engaged. AFC lol right ... I'm just learning these things I think it's pretty funny.

I think it's a nice try mate. But a little needy in places and i can see you're wanting to appear confident, but it looks a little try hard. I would change your job bit to

"I have an awesome job that takes skill and knowledge. (im in the UK so don't know what R&D is, is it a shop? if so i wouldn't dwell on that). I amm in the process of doing my house up and it is looking great, so i guess i have brains as well as practical skills ( i know, cool huh). I am well travelled (mention places) but would love an adventurous girl to go to (insert interesting locations here). i AM easy going, laid back and AWESOME fun (naked bungy jumping anyone?). Family values are important to me.

Get rid of the whole "send me a wink or say hi" (it looks needy and girls know what to do). I'm pretty proactive and so it would be cool to meet up sooner rather than later if i think we get on.....
