Hi guys, been trying online game recently which is all very new to me. So far had some minor successes with pof in terms of being able to get a decent response rate and a couple of numbers, but I seem to run into a problem when asking for a girl's number.

I'll usually have a joke with them in the typical cocky but funny style, then once I feel like we've built a connection i'll cut the crap and ask to swap numbers. With a recent girl she said she doesn't give her number out before she knows a guys name. I give her my name and she carries on as if i've never asked for her number.

After feeling like it's an uphill battle I told her she was difficult and suggested we get a divorce but she just said 'I'm difficult and you love it'. I feel like i'm being given the run around here! How on earth do I get her to stop messing with me?

I've had this happen a few times. I find it works well for me to at this point say something like "I've had a long day at work, but text me sometime and maybe we can get to know each other better. 42******** I'm Matthew. Kinda brushing them off or making yourself harder for them to get. IDK there's probably a more effective way, but they usually always end up texting me later.
