I'm curious about what other Pick-up artists think about dating sites and to what degree they utilize them.

I personally believe they give you a disadvantage since each girl is getting loads of messages a day and it boosts her ego to the point that she gets overly picky. Still, they can be useful at times if you use the cut and paste method with a few custom lines so she knows you actually read her profile.

What do you guys think? Do you use dating sites and what are your strategies if you do?

I have messaged 300+ girls on each POF and okcupid since the very end of May.. so it's been a bit over a month.

Here's an experiment where the hotter girls get 20-30 messages per day... just imagine if they don't check for a few days. Dont expect them to message you first, chicks don't do that. I've only gotten a few. Funny enough a really cute mexican girl opened me yesterday and we've been texting today.. im very interested.

Out of my 600-700 girls I messaged, I had roughly 100 responses. Out of those, about 20 gave me their phone numbers. Out of those, I banged 5 of them.. as you can see, it takes a lot of work. I'm a good looking, tall guy, with another year of college left, but I feel like most of them want a man who is already making bank and can take them out, etc. If you PM me I can show you my ok cupid profile. Then a lot of them would hook, we would text a bit, then they lose interest, or find another guy to meet up with. It kind of sucks when she's cute, you are about to meet up, then she just doesn't feel it anymore.. no biggie, though.

I didn't take any of them out, one of them came over a few times and i'd always have a bottle of wine ready, and a movie. Another wants me really bad but I lost attraction after we fucked a few times (our first date was watching my uni's baseball team while we drank wine past the outfield). The other three were ONS, one of them was a hot asian/italian with a kid and its unfortunate she lost interest.

The opener that gave me my results was "You seem cool.. wanna have lots of babies?" or "We should have like 100 babies". It's fun and sexual... if you read the article... chicks never respond to "Hey, what's up" or "Hey, how are you"... they hit delete immediately. And I would open with that the first few days on POF. POF has lots of overweight women with babies, OKcupid had a lot cuter chicks with no kids. That's my experience. I'll post the topic if people are interested

when I was in the field, I mostly did online since it fits my schedule better (busy working 5 days a week, and not in the mood for clubbing). I had POF for a while, then settled for OkCupid.
I sent a varying number of messages, probably 20 a week, most often a canned opener of my own making.
the response rate is low, it's mostly a numbers game. also, a minority of girls who respond will actually end up meeting you. some, you will quickly lose interest for. others will have shit going on. I have realized that for most girls there is a high ASD before the real date, it looks like many guys will just go straight for sexting.
as for real life, I met 9 girls in two months, slept with 3 and made out with 3 more (could be 4, but I blew up my last first date).
statistics: k-closed A on the first date, then f-closed her on the second date. practically f-closed J on the first date (she had her period, but she spent the night with me and we did not sleep.... - we had full-blown intercourse five days later). k-closed S on the second date, f-closed her a few days later. k-closed M on the second date. k-closed G on the first date. k-closed N on the first date. I did not pursue a f-close with M because she was very weird, too weird. as for G, she decided I had pushed too far the make out. I was going to try and f-close N but she rescheduled and before the right day came, I entered an LTR.
your goal: get her interest with a funny profile and a funny opener, #-close ASAP and then schedule a date. once she meets you, the real game is on.

You should post it. That would be interesting to see and I'm sure a lot of guys can use the tips.

On dating sites I usually open with something like: "Tell me more about [insert something from her profile]" But I keep it pretty short. Long messages are a no-no because they seem desperate.
