So a while back I was chatting up a girl at a gig. Any it turned out she knew the son of one the women I was with. About a week later I added the womens son as a friend and found her on facebook. I added her and she didnt accept the request so I sent her a message saying 'sorry I must have added the wrong person, the girl I was thinking of was really interesting and your profile makes you seen really boring'. Anyway a week or two later she adds me and right away likes my status about having too many clothes, turns out she loves mens fashion and has loads of pic on pintrest of blokes dressed exactly how I dress.

So, question is do I go direct and say;
'So you are the girl I met at the gig? You were very interesting and I never even asked you for your number. Id like to get to know you more. Let me take you out sometime.'

Or indirect and say:
''So you are the girl I met at the gig? You were very interesting, your half Chilean right?'

She showed obvious interest when I met her and even me chatting her up infront of her parents didnt bother her. I had good kino, she was laughing etc but sadly had to leave and I didnt get a chance to ask her for her number.

I'd say go indirect because she might not be feeling the same feelings and the same excitement with you as she did the other night. This will allow you to build just a bit more comfort if you'd like and more importantly, get her excited to see you again! She might not be in the mood to go out so put her in the mood to go out

I know this isn't really that good of advice but i didn't just want to say "Indirect" or "Direct" as my answer.

Indirect is typically best for most guys, mostly because with direct you have to keep a very strong frame. Indirect allows more options for conversational flow.

Went direct. Figured I have nothing to lose and if she doesnt reply or says no I can always build comfort and ask again later.
