I am pretty new to the game and started just by reading the blog and watching several vids around the web.
Now this happened to me:
Got to know a girl at the seasons ending party of our team. We were at a park, so no dark room and loud music and stuff. Talked to her.
A week later I met her the first time during practice. Talked to her again.

Both times she responded quite short and not very talkative. For me this thing was over because of her not showing any interest.

Now she added me on Facebook. And I am the only FB-friend she got from our sports club. This was Saturday, two days ago.

What do you guys think of this? Any suggestions how to respond? I mean, clearly I got to message her, right?

Means she is probably attracted to something about you, and she is hinting that you should try a little harder! The short replies could be that she is a little shy or it could mean that you did not really inspire her to open up a little more.

So I wrote her a short message making a little joke about her profile being mostly in Spanish and me not understanding much. Because I know that one of her parents is Mexican I asked which one it is.
So no real teasing, no. Just wanted to get an answer which I can start a conversation with...
No reply so far.
Is it a good idea to just ask her straight forward why she seems so shy and, despite that, added me on fb and now, not answering?

Honestly she may have added you on FB because girls like to be viewed as social and 100000000000+ friends means they are social "in their way of thinking". You have opened the lines of communication, if she does not reply even after you know she has been on her FB then I would just next her until you have the chance to see her face 2 face again. Be fun and exciting on FB if you go on there a lot. Basically the ball is in her court.
