She seemed to be coming around and then it all stopped. I wanted to write back and say something clever, but I didn't want to seem eager.

She didn't really invest into the conversation. Her responses were autopilot mode. That's why qualifying is important.

Don't write paragraphs like that. Always keep your response shorter or equal length with her. Stop with all the "lol" and emotions. You're dancing around like clown, it makes you appear to be beta and too interested in her.

Try to make her qualify and open up. After her response "Natural" I would say something like "A lady with very few words aren't you? Or are you afraid to open up to people because you've been hurt in the past?"
