I've been on pof for a few months, no results. Changed my profile a bit. A girl sent me an email out of the blue

I never got a response back from her. I should have asked a question but wanted to keep it short. This girl may have just been complimenting me with no other interest, but I have learned that women don't email unless they are somewhat curious..interested..etc.

What would be a good alpha response now If I would email her again since she never responded back? I'm here asking because I never get initial emails sent to me,lol.

i think you nailed it... she had nothing to say back since you didn't engage her.

Try something like:

Hey, just combing through some old emails and realized I never heard back from you. If you're inbox is anything like mine it must have just fallen through the cracks. You mentioned (WHATEVER) in your profile... thought we could (whatever) and see where it goes.

I don't know what else you could do... but something is better than nothing.
