lol? I doubt that will work really. Way to much cockiness with no real humor and nothing to pull or get a girl to reply in kind.

Ya I'm a noob to the site and a noob in general. I just started 3 days ago.

However, in that time, I have actually met 3 different girls on POF, so I might be doing something right.

Yeah I mean it appears way too cocky and from what I gather, girls seem to receive tons of messages from guys who purport to be alpha male, overly cocky, or w/e. Granted you may be alpha male, but it may be better to demonstrate this in person after bypassing the whole message->date phase.

What I'm trying to say (and failing lol) is that many men act cocky online, so it doesn't separate you from these other men. However, Trying to be savvy and unorthodox in your approach, while making some observations about their profile is a good route and will separate you from other men.

I use these 3 openers with high success:

1) Are you one of those girls who takes forever to do her hair and makeup, or does it just look that way?
Follow up = based on what they say, tease them more. keep it short

2) You should remove that picture
Follow up = They say "why" or "what picture". You say: "lol I hope you can take a joke, I thought you were adorable, I just had to say hi "

3) Really like your profile. I think we can have some fun
together. Message me back if interested.
Follow up = "Oh I'm interested in you as well" "You seem very cool" "I'd like to get to know you as well". Reply with "Thanks + observation from their profile or future plans for week/end"



All of these display confidence but not being overly cocky. Granted this is a fine line to walk online where everything you write is subject to interpretation and personal bias.
