Facebook application and texting?

So here's the deal. I have facebook on my phone, which automatically added ALL of my facebook friends phone numbers to my contacts. Now I have hundreds of contacts that I've probably never met (just admit it, you haven't talked to everyone on your facebook) I figure this would be a great way to meet some new people, but whats a good way to open that doesn't come off as creepy, you know with me having their number and not knowing who the hell they are?

Basically everything you just wrote in that reply would be my advice!!

'Hi, I just added the fb application to my phone and it's transferred all my fb friends to my contacts...but it's kind of weird that we've haven't talked yet so blah blah blah

Thats what I was thinking as well. My wing says I should talk to them on facebook instead, but I'm not sure which would be better...

The number thing has given you a great opener and a reason to talk to her.

But I agree with your wing that it is high risk, lower risk would be to try and talk on facebook first and then maybe get somewhere.

Or you could go straight to the text, which is a more advanced step that fb, it's kind of do or die in case she doesn't reply back. But what the hell, I say go for it!! Go big or go home!

You should def. not msg her on the phone, just because the app downloaded all their numbers onto your phone. You'll come across kind of weird.. Ask yourself this - would you type in a womans phone number onto your phone, if the contact info was there to take?

If I were you, I'd instead go on negging her bout leaving her number on there for everyone to see, seeming really desperate... You can work something out...
